Android Updates for March 2026 patch multiple vulnerabilities
Google published the Android Security Bulletin for March 2026 with patches for multiple security vulnerabilities.
A total of 51 issues were patched with the first part of security updates – the (2026-03-01) security patch level. The vulnerabilities were patched in Framework and System. These include 33 elevation of privilege flaws, 10 information disclosure flaws, 7 "denial of service" flaws and 1 vulnerability of remote code execution.
The second part of the March 2026 set of patches arrives on devices as the (2026-03-05) security patch level and includes fixes for a total of 66 vulnerabilities in the Kernel, Arm, Imagination Technologies, MediaTek, Misc OEM, Unisoc and Qualcomm components.
According to the Android Security Bulletin, security vulnerability (CVE-2026-21385) is likely to be exploited in the wild.
