Google published the Android Security Bulletin for December 2025 with patches for multiple security vulnerabilities.

A total of 51 issues were patched with the first part of security updates – the (2025-12-01) security patch level. The vulnerabilities were patched in Framework, System. These include 36 elevation of privilege flaws, 8 information disclosure flaws, and 7 "denial of service" flaws.

The second part of the December 2025 set of patches arrives on devices as the (2025-12-05) security patch level and includes fixes for a total of 56 vulnerabilities in the Kernel, Arm, Imagination Technologies, MediaTek, Unisoc, and Qualcomm components.

According to the Android Security Bulletin, security vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-48572, CVE-2025-48633) are likely to be exploited in the wild.
