Google published the Android Security Bulletin for April 2023 with patches for multiple vulnerabilities, including six security vulnerabilities that are rated critical.

A total of 26 issues were patched with the first part of security updates – the 2023-04-01 security patch level. The vulnerabilities were patched in Framework, System and Google Play system components. These include 15 elevation of privilege flaws, six information disclosure vulnerabilities, three denial of service issues and two remote code execution flaws.

The second part of April 2023 set of patches arrives on devices as the 2023-04-05 security patch level and includes fixes for a total of 40 vulnerabilities in Kernel, Arm, Imagination Technologies, MediaTek, Unisoc and Qualcomm components.
