Google published the Android Security Bulletin for September 2022 with patches for multiple vulnerabilities, including security vulnerability that is rated critical.

A total of 12 issues were patched with the first part of security updates – the 2022-09-01 security patch level. The vulnerabilities were patched in Android runtime, Framework, System and Google Play system components. These include nine elevation of privilege flaws and three information disclosure vulnerabilities.

The second part of September 2022 set of patches arrives on devices as the 2022-09-05 security patch level and includes fixes for a total of 36 vulnerabilities in Kernel, Imagination Technologies, MediaTek, Unisoc and Qualcomm components.

Google also announced patches for Pixel devices that address multiple security vulnerabilities in Kernel, Pixel and Qualcomm components.
