Security updates have been released for Linux Kernel

Several vulnerabilities have been discovered in the Linux kernel that may lead to arbitrary code execution, security restrictions bypass, sensitive information disclosure, denial of service condition and elevation of privilege. These problems have been fixed with the release of security updates.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.1 kernel update solves 1 vulnerability – RHSA -2022:4942.

For Ubuntu system:

  • Linux kernel updates that solve 4 vulnerabilities in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS – USN-5470-1;
  • Linux kernel updates that solve 20 vulnerabilities in Ubuntu 22.04 LTS – USN-5469-1;
  • Linux kernel updates that solve 6 vulnerabilities in Ubuntu 21.10, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS – USN-5468-1;
  • Linux kernel updates that solve 21 vulnerabilities in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, Ubuntu 18.04 LTS – USN-5467-1;
