In Google Play were found applications downloading Joker trojan. This malware is notable for the fact that it secretly subscribes to premium services. Malware can also intercept SMS, steal confidential data and contact lists.

Listed below are three applications infected by Joker and discovered by experts from Kaspersky Lab by the end of February 2022. The infected apps have been removed from Google Play but are still available on third-party app marketplaces.

Camera PDF Scanner (com.jiao.hdcam.docscanner).
