Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 1909 on May 11, 2021
Microsoft has reminded users that Windows 10 version 1909 (November 2019 update) will reach end of service. According to the plans of the corporation, this OS release will become outdated in May 2021.
Thus, after three months, Microsoft will stop providing technical support, and will also refuse to release patches and fixes for Windows 10 1909. The tech giant recommends that everyone who uses the old version of the system update it to the current one as soon as possible - this will save from cyber attacks.
“On May 11, 2021, the Home, Pro, Pro Education, Pro for Workstations editions of Windows 10 1909 and all editions of Windows Server 1909 will reach end of service. Users who contact technical support after May 11 will be redirected to update the operating system,” Microsoft writes.
The Education and Enterprise releases will be supported one more year, but on May 11, 2022, their term will also end. Also in May, Microsoft will end support for the other two versions, 1803 and 1809.
