Google published the Android Security Bulletin for May 2022 with patches for multiple vulnerabilities, including one that is rated critical.

A total of 13 issues were patched with the first part of security updates – the 2022-05-01 security patch level. The vulnerabilities were patched in Framework, System and Google Play system components. These include seven elevation of privilege flaws, four information disclosure vulnerabilities and two DoS vulnerability.

The second part of May 2022 set of patches arrives on devices as the 2022-05-05 security patch level and includes fixes for a total of 23 vulnerabilities in Kernel, MediaTek, and Qualcomm components.

Google also announced patches for Pixel devices that address eleven security vulnerabilities in Pixel and Qualcomm components.
