Security updates have been released for Linux Kernel

Multiple vulnerabilities were identified in Linux Kernel. A remote attacker could exploit some of these vulnerabilities to trigger arbitrary code execution, information disclosure, privilege escalation and cause a denial of service condition on the targeted system.

For SUSE system:

  • Linux Kernel 4.12.14-150_86 update fixes three vulnerabilities – SUSE-SU-2022:1329-1;
  • Linux Kernel 4.12.14-197_108 update fixes two vulnerabilities – SUSE-SU-2022:1335-1;
  • Linux Kernel 5.3.18-150300_59_43 update fixes three vulnerabilities – SUSE-SU-2022:1369-1;
  • The SUSE Linux Enterprise 12 SP5 RT kernel update solves 20 vulnerabilities and has 38 fixes – SUSE-SU-2022:1402-1;
  • The SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 SP3 kernel update solves 15 vulnerabilities and has 34 fixes – SUSE-SU-2022:1407-1.

For Red Hat system:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 kernel update solves 2 vulnerabilities – RHSA-2022:1550;
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 kernel update solves 2 vulnerabilities – RHSA-2022:1555;
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.1 Update Services for SAP Solutions kernel update solves 1 vulnerability – RHSA-2022:1589.

For Ubuntu system:

  • Linux kernel updates that solve 3 vulnerabilities in Ubuntu 22.04 LTS – USN-5390-1.
