Google published the Android Security Bulletin for April 2022 with patches for multiple vulnerabilities, including nine that are rated critical.

A total of 14 issues were patched with the first part of security updates – the 2022-04-01 security patch level. The vulnerabilities were patched in Framework, Media Framework, System and Google Play system components. These include nine elevation of privilege flaws, four information disclosure vulnerabilities and one DoS vulnerability.

The second part of April 2022 set of patches arrives on devices as the 2022-04-05 security patch level and includes fixes for a total of 30 vulnerabilities in Kernel, MediaTek, and Qualcomm components.

Google also announced patches for Pixel devices that address five security vulnerabilities in Kernel, Pixel and Qualcomm components.
