Google published the Android Security Bulletin for March 2022 with patches for multiple vulnerabilities, including three that are rated critical.

A total of 18 issues were patched with the first part of security updates – the 2022-03-01 security patch level. The vulnerabilities were patched in Android runtime, Framework, Media Framework and System components. An attacker could exploit some of these vulnerabilities to trigger denial of service condition, elevation of privilege and sensitive information disclosure on the targeted system.

The second part of March 2022’s set of patches arrives on devices as the 2022-03-05 security patch level and includes fixes for a total of 21 vulnerabilities in Framework, Kernel, MediaTek, Project Mainline and Qualcomm components.

Google also announced patches for Pixel devices that address multiple security vulnerabilities in Kernel, Pixel and Qualcomm components.
