Cisco released security updates
Cisco has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in multiple Cisco products. An attacker could exploit some of these vulnerabilities to take control of an affected system.
With these updates, Cisco has addressed multiple high-severity and medium severity vulnerabilities (CVE-2022-20624, CVE-2022-20650, CVE-2022-20623, CVE-2022-20625) in Cisco NX-OS Software, Cisco FXOS Software and Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches. Exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges, cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected system. Cisco has also updated two security advisories to address denial of service vulnerabilities (CVE-2021-1586, CVE-2022-20653) in Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches and Cisco Email Security Appliance. Details on all of the addressed vulnerabilities are available on Cisco’s security portal – cisco.com.
