Cisco releases security updates for multiple products
Cisco has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in multiple Cisco products. An attacker could exploit some of these vulnerabilities to take control of an affected system.
With these updates, Cisco has addressed multiple critical vulnerabilities in Cisco Small Business RV160, RV260, RV340, and RV345 Series Routers. Exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code or arbitrary commands, elevate privileges, bypass authentication protections, fetch and run unsigned software, cause denial of service (DoS). Cisco has released software updates that address the vulnerabilities of Cisco Small Business RV Series Routers - cisco-sa-smb-mult-vuln-KA9PK6D.
Cisco has also released patches for several medium severity vulnerabilities in Cisco Content Security Management Appliance, Cisco Web Security Appliance, Cisco Umbrella Secure Web Gateway, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco Prime Service Catalog products. Details on all of the addressed vulnerabilities are available on Cisco’s security portal – cisco.com.
