Antivirus company ESET has released patches for a local privilege escalation vulnerability. According to published information, the problem impacts all Windows clients, including the ESET NOD32 antivirus package.

The security issue affects the following products of the antivirus company: ESET NOD32 Antivirus, ESET Internet Security, ESET Smart Security and ESET Smart Security Premium, ESET Endpoint Antivirus and ESET Endpoint Security for Windows, ESET Server Security and ESET File Security for Windows Server, ESET Server Security for Azure, ESET Security for SharePoint Server and ESET Mail Security for IBM Domino and Exchange Server.
