Google fixed zero-day vulnerability in Chrome
Google has fixed an actively exploited zero-day vulnerability (CVE-2021-21166) in the Chrome 89.0.4389.72 version released on March 2, 2021 for Windows, Mac, and Linux users. This Chrome release also addresses 47 other security vulnerabilities.
Google rated the zero-day vulnerability as high severity. According to the corporation, the problem exists in the audio component. The security flaw was found last month by security researcher Alison Huffman.
Windows, Linux and macOS users are advised to urgently install Chrome version 89.0.4389.72.
