Google published the Android Security Bulletin for December 2021 with patches for multiple vulnerabilities, including six that are rated critical.

A total of 15 issues were patched with the first part of security updates – the 2021-12-01 security patch level. The vulnerabilities were patched in Framework, Media Framework and System components. These include seven elevation of privilege flaws, five information disclosure vulnerabilities, two DoS vulnerabilities and one remote code execution flaw.

The second part of December 2021’s set of patches arrives on devices as the 2021-12-05 security patch level and includes fixes for a total of 31 vulnerabilities in Media Framework, Kernel, MediaTek and Qualcomm components.

Google also announced patches for Pixel devices that address multiple security vulnerabilities in Framework, Media Framework, Messaging, System, Kernel, Pixel and Qualcomm components.
