Vulnerability is fixed in Intel processors

Vulnerability (CVE-2021-0146) allows testing or debugging modes to be enabled on multiple Intel processors. This could allow an unauthenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege on the system via physical access.

The issue has been found in Pentium, Celeron and Atom processors on Apollo Lake, Gemini Lake and Gemini Lake Refresh platforms. The vulnerability was rated 7.1 on the CVSS scale.

Intel recommends that users of affected Intel Processors update to the latest version provided by the system manufacturer that addresses these issues.
