Palo Alto Networks announced the availability of patches for security flaws in the GlobalProtect App. A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Palo Alto Networks company’s GlobalProtect app that enables a man-in-the-middle attacker to disrupt system processes and potentially execute arbitrary code with system privileges. Vulnerability has been assigned as CVE-2021-3057 and rated critical severity with a CVSS score of 8.1.
