NETGEAR has released security updates to address a remote code execution vulnerability (CVE-2021-40847) in multiple routers. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to take control of an affected system.

Netgear strongly recommends customers to download the latest firmware for their devices as soon as possible.
