FatalRAT is yet another trojan that uses Telegram channels to spread
The Trojan that allows operators to remotely access the target device is being distributed via Telegram channels. According to researchers at AT&T Alien Labs, users can find the links to download the malware in the news channels related to software.
According to the report of experts, RAT malware, dubbed FatalRAT, can be remotely executed on the victim's device and can bypass security measures. Once in the system, FatalRAT logs user keystrokes, collects information about the OS and transmits all data to operators over the encrypted channel. FatalRAT also tries to identify which anti-virus programs are running on the attacked system, at the same time it extracts information from browsers. Moreover, the Trojan can spread on the victim's network using brute force.
