New Android malware uses VNC to record screen and steal passwords
New Android trojan that allows threat actors to remotely access victims' devices was recently spotted by experts in attacks on mobile device users. It is found that malware can record screen and steal confidential data. The trojan is named «Vultur» because it uses Virtual Network Computing (VNC), a remote desktop access system. The malicious program is distributed via the official Google Play Store and masqueraded as a harmless «Protection Guard» application.
