Netgear routers vulnerabilities allow to compromise corporate networks

Microsoft 365 Defender has found three dangerous vulnerabilities in the firmware of some Netgear router models. The vulnerabilities affect DGN2200v1 series routers running firmware versions prior to 1.0.0.60.

Exploitation of the vulnerabilities allows unauthorized attackers to access router management pages by bypassing authentication, then gain access to the device and steal saved router credentials. The problems received scores from 7.1 to 9.4 according to the CVSS scale. Developers have already released patches.
