Google released a security advisory for Android in April 2026 that includes fixes to address security vulnerabilities.

With the release of the first part of security updates (2026-04-01), denial of service (DoS) vulnerability (CVE-2026-0049) in the Framework component has been fixed.

The second part of the April 2026 patch set (2026-04-05) includes fixes for 1 vulnerability (CVE-2025-48651) in Google, NXP, STMicroelectronics, and Thales components.
