Google published the Android Security Bulletin for September 2025 with patches for multiple security vulnerabilities.

A total of 58 issues were patched with the first part of security updates – the (2025-09-01) security patch level. The vulnerabilities were patched in Android Runtime, Framework, System and Google Play system. These include 40 elevation of privilege flaws, 10 information disclosure flaws, 1 remote code execution flaw and 7 to trigger denial of service condition flaw.

The second part of September 2025 set of patches arrives on devices as the (2025-09-05) security patch level and includes fixes for a total of 52 vulnerabilities in Kernel, Arm, Imagination Technologies, MediaTek, Qualcomm.

According to the Android Security Bulletin, security vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-38352, CVE-2025-48543) are likely to be exploited in the wild.
