Google published the Android Security Bulletin for May 2025 with patches for multiple security vulnerabilities.

A total of 24 issues were patched with the first part of security updates – the (2025-05-01) security patch level. The vulnerabilities were patched in Framework, System and Google Play system. These include 19 elevation of privilege flaws, 3 information disclosure flaws, 1 remote code execution flaw and 1 to trigger denial of service condition flaw.

The second part of May 2025 set of patches arrives on devices as the (2025-05-05) security patch level and includes fixes for a total of 23 vulnerabilities in Kernel LTS, Imagination Technologies, Arm components, MediaTek, Qualcomm.

According to the Android Security Bulletin, security vulnerability (CVE-2025-27363) is likely to be exploited in the wild.
