Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 10 1909 on May 11, 2021
Microsoft has reminded users that support for Windows 10 1909 will soon come to an end. From May 11, 2021, users of this release will no longer receive important updates and patches.
The corporation recommends updating the operating system versions so that users do not face exploitation of vulnerabilities.
“Your computer will still work, but it could become more vulnerable to malware. There are no patches or updates for outdated versions,” Microsoft explains.
The list of discussed versions, which will reach end of service on May 11, looks like this:
Windows 10, version 1909: Home, Pro, Pro for Workstations, and Pro Education. Windows Server will also be affected;
Windows 10, version 1809: All editions except LTSC;
All releases of Windows 10, version 1803 and Windows Server, version 1803.
Windows 10 1909 Education and Enterprise editions will be supported one more year. Their time will come on May 11, 2022.
