Network equipment vendor D-Link has fixed several critical vulnerabilities (CVE-2024-45694, CVE-2024-45695, CVE-2024-45696, CVE-2024-45697, CVE-2024-45698) in three popular models of wireless routers. Successful exploitation of these flaws by a remote attacker could lead to arbitrary code execution, to the execution of commands at the OS level and gain access to devices using hard-coded credentials.

D-Link recommends for its customers update the firmware to versions v1.03B01 for COVR-X1870, v1.04B05 for DIR-X4860 and DIR-X5460A1_V1.11B04 for DIR-X5460 as soon as possible.
