Apple releases security updates to fix 0-day vulnerability
Apple has released security updates to address 0-day vulnerability (CVE-2023-42824) in Apple Products. An issue was discovered in the XNU kernel and has been identified as (CVE-2023-42824). It is reported that it could be used by a local attacker to escalate privileges on unupdated iPhones and iPads. Apple also addressed a bug tracked as CVE-2023-5217, which could allow arbitrary code execution on affected devices.
Apple fixed vulnerability in versions iOS 17.0.3 and iPadOS 17.0.3.
