Google published the Android Security Bulletin for September 2023 with patches for multiple vulnerabilities, including four security vulnerabilities that are rated critical.

A total of 20 issues were patched with the first part of security updates – the 2023-09-01 security patch level. The vulnerabilities were patched in Framework, System and Google Play system components. These include 10 elevation of privilege flaws, 6 information disclosure vulnerabilities, three remote code execution flaws and one denial of service issue.

The second part of September 2023 set of patches arrives on devices as the 2023-09-05 security patch level and includes fixes for a total of 12 vulnerabilities in Qualcomm components.
