Google published the Android Security Bulletin for August 2023 with patches for multiple security vulnerabilities.

A total of 32 issues were patched with the first part of security updates – the 2023-08-01 security patch level. The vulnerabilities were patched in Android Runtime, Framework, Media Framework, System and Google Play system components. These include 13 elevation of privilege flaws, 3 remote code execution flaws, 12 information disclosure vulnerabilities, 4 denial of service issues.

The second part of August 2023 set of patches arrives on devices as the 2023-08-05 security patch level and includes fixes for a total of 9 vulnerabilities in Kernel, Arm, MediaTek and Qualcomm components.

Google also announced patches for Pixel devices that address multiple security vulnerabilities in Qualcomm components.
