Google published the Android Security Bulletin for May 2023 with patches for multiple security vulnerabilities.

A total of 16 issues were patched with the first part of security updates – the 2023-05-01 security patch level. The vulnerabilities were patched in Framework, System and Google Play system components. These include 9 elevation of privilege flaws, 4 information disclosure vulnerabilities, three denial of service issues.

The second part of May 2023 set of patches arrives on devices as the 2023-05-05 security patch level and includes fixes for a total of 29 vulnerabilities in Kernel, Arm, Imagination Technologies, MediaTek, Unisoc and Qualcomm components.

Google also announced patches for Pixel devices that address multiple security vulnerabilities in Pixel and Qualcomm components.
